$9.99 ?????? What a waste!

In good faith I purchased a FREE app that gives such limited-in-size-and-depth material. To make up for that I purchased the in-App Pangaea Passport for $9.99 to access all the lessons but realized they get you to keep buying over and over. Sleazeful developers and Apple should be ashamed! Every time I try to access additional lessons in the beginner, intermediate, or advanced levels I keep getting a window message telling me I have to purchase the Pangaea Passport. What for? It doesnt work
all. A real waste! What does one do to get his/her money back?
A letter to the state attorney general and the commissioner of state consumer affairs might do the trick or, at least, make me feel better. If you ask me "Wie Gehts?" My answer is "Nicht sehr gut!"
