iPod users & travelers take note: Upgrade is based on log-in state and server authentication, so user must be perpetually logged in or lose access to paid upgrade content—more like leased content than purchased. If the app cannot connect with the server, then the paid content becomes inaccessable—i.e. in *Airplane Mode* or outside of cell tower range, such as when *traveling*.

This app makes it very easy to lean German through popular phrases.

For novice students to advance students you learn little by little !

Great if you want to learn the basics a good app but you have to pay for some if it which I dont like

This German learning program progresses through from easy to tough by making learning fun. Repetition is the key to success.

I love this it is perfect for German people to learn their language.

Cant discern sie (she) from sie (they) because no sentence context is given. Typos in the text describing cases leads me to wonder what else may be wrong.

This program has terrible support. It costs $10 for the passport, which isnt much, but then you realize the low quality of the following lessons. Things like four options for the imperative tense where two possible answers are hyphens, but only one is correct. Really? As a language teacher, Im insulted. What a lack of attention to detail. Fix your program, or dont charge for it. I asked for help from support twice. No answer. Im appalled. You charge a price tag and then dont answer customer questions? Not cool. Get it together guys.

Very easy to follow

I think its a great app. It has phrases, quizzes, audio, and games you can play to practice. If ppl need more than that, then they should just get a teacher instead of using an app as a shortcut to learn. Learning is just based off of repetition. The more you practice, the easier the memory will become. Overall, Ill say again, its a great app. Two thumbs up

This is a good review app. It has good graphics, UI and pronunciations. The basic vocabulary is well chosen, in my opinion.

In the grammar exercises, it is impossible to distinguish between "sie", as in she and "sie" as in they. Also capital S "Sie" many of the verb tenses are incorrect. I am a fairly novice learner, but I know these errors are in this app. so I wouldnt trust it that much. I found this out after I spent $10 for the passport. I suggest Babbel as an alternative far superior. It costs more, but its worth it.

I love this app, its easy, the lessons are simple to digest, and I feel like I can teach myself with no problem...now if only I had some German speaking friends!

I spoke a little bit of German several years ago and lost my knowledge due to lack of use. This app has not only helped me to regain my German knowledge, but to surpass it! It is a great app for learning the language and it includes everything you need to know. The full app is available with an in-app purchase of $10. It sounds like alot, but it is totally worth it. I highly recommend this app for learning German. Fünf Sterne! (Five stars!)

Im currently learning German and I look a 3 month break but when I came back to looking at the beginning German words I remembered how to say it all of it. This is a great learning tool. I strongly suggest it.

This app is the BEST! I never knew languages could be so easy to learn until I saw this app. Its like they force info into your brain and you wont forget anything you Learned, even if the last time you used the app was a long time ago!!

This developer has a great format. The way they categorize everything is superb, and youll not find the explanations of the language building blocks such as accusative prepositions, anywhere else. Also, the phrases and words are recorded as one

An overall pretty good learning format to complement what I had already learned in high school. Really not sure if Id be able to get much use out of it if I were starting fresh, though. My problem is that there are glaring mis-types and omissions in the program like it is still in the development phase. I was going to report them to the developer but there are so many, Id have to take the time to go through every section. The speaker will say one thing but the word phrase is different. Or there will be some words and then a bunch of dashes that apparently stood for words in a multiple choice area. Overall it will help as a tool, but I would not consider it capable of teaching you adequate German in place of a course in school or book study.

I agree with the other author- this App is a Ripp-off,it is from WILLIAMS software,(not a German company), and all they do is try to soak you for more money. The App is 66 megabytes,yet does nothing. I actually only bought the license because I was being bullied by APPLE (a Chinese company), because if your payment fails,they lock up the App store until you hand over the money. Hey Apple,remember when I paid you for "expedited shipping"? You forgot to add that the product was being sent from Shenzen,China-which is your REAl headquarters. Sick of being bullied by Billionaire Corporations (Walmart,Apple,Microsoft).
